Purpose
The DTE–70/50 diode test unit is designed for:
- testing the insulation of power high-voltage electrical cables using rectified voltage with an amplitude value up to 70 kV.
- testing solid dielectrics with sinusoidal alternating voltage of industrial frequency up to 50 kV (RMS), e.g., high-voltage components of distribution equipment;
- laboratory and research purposes.
The DTE-70/50 model is equipped with reliable analog (pointer-type) meters. This design is simple, resistant to external conditions, and capable of operating at low temperatures, where LCD indicators may become less readable. This makes the device especially suitable for use in harsh climate conditions.
